MAC In Extreme Dimension Lash

Anyone who knows me will know how much i love a good mascara and i am always on the hunt for my all time favourite but have yet to of found it. I can't say that this has become my favourite yet as i haven't been using it that long however, it had everything i like in a mascara,

I love the comb wand as you get a lot of separation and it's very layer-able, it's quite a large wand but i find it manageable. It does look like you get a lot of product on the wand however i haven't found that it clumps in any way.

I do find i need to add quite a few layers to get my desired effect but i tend to do that a lot with mascaras anyway so it's not a problem for me and once i have added my required layers i really like the effect it gives.

I think the main thing i am drawn to is the packaging which is very different for MAC but it really stands out to me and it's very comfortable to hold.

This mascara retails at £18 and you can get it HERE

I Love Spikes

I just had to show you these shoes, i got them as a gift for Christmas from my lovely Mum and Dad and they have been the only thing i've worn to go out in since. They go with every outfit and the heel isn't so high that your feet will be falling off by the end of the night. They are black suede and the spikes at the back are a gunmetal colour which i love however i would say the spikes are actually really sharp so be careful but i haven't managed to catch myself on them yet so you'll be fine :-)

The main reason i love them is because you can pair them with skinny jeans or leggings, a t-shirt and a blazer and you have the perfect smart casual outfit. They are from ALDO and they are priced at £85, you can find them HERE

Bobbi Brown Bronzer

So if you watch my videos you may know that this bronzer from Bobbi Brown is quickly becoming my new favourite and i thought i would tell you a few reasons why. My favourite type of bronzer is matte, purely because i generally contour my face with a bronzer and it kind of defeats the object of contour if it has a shimmer, also if you are using it to give your face colour i don't really want i glittery face.

As with many matte products they can be a lot harder to blend just because of the texture but i find this particular bronzer to blend perfectly with out any problems. Another problem i have found with some matte bronzers is the colour pay off, i feel you have to swipe the brush quite a few times over the powder to get you required amount but again this product has great pigmentation and colour pay off so with this one i tend to use a smaller amount a build it up if i need to which means it lasts a lot longer.

This comes in 5 different shades, i use Medium No 2, it retails at £27 check it out HERE

Real Techniques Brushes

I have to give some 2013 love to the Real Techniques Brushes, not only are they amazing they have an amazing price point as well and are so widely available!

They are by the amazing Pixiwoo sisters who we all know and love which also leaves me safe in the knowledge you have got a great product being from professional Make-up artists. They are all made from synthetic hair which helps when cleaning as you don't get bristles that splay out, they are perfect for all liquid, powder or cream products and a massive plus is being synthetic they are obviously cruelty free.

As you can see from the pic you have the handy case which is perfect for travel and also you can use them to be displayed as the case folds over and acts like a stand.

I think i have almost all of the RT brushes and i also have some very expensive real hair brushes and i have to say some of these brushes have changed my life forever and have quickly taken over some of my favourite real hair brushes!

You can buy some of these brushes in singles and others in sets, they range from £6.99 - £21.99 which is a perfect price point that doesn't leave anyone out no matter what your budget may be i also think they would be perfect for someone that wants to start off their brush collection.

Smashbox Cream Eyeliner Palette

The main reason i got this palette was for my kit as you never know which colour eyeliner you may need or even a base colour for an eyeshadow and as it is so compact and light weight it's the perfect thing to travel around with. My first impressions were love at first sight, the packaging is slim, matte black which is very sleek looking, easy to open and the fact you get 10 different colours within it you can't go wrong!

There is 2 different palettes to choose from1 called proof and the other is called metallic which is the one i have. The eyeliner themselves are very smooth to apply and have great pigment and work perfectly as a base for eyeshadows too, this is a complete must have for any MUA's kit :-)

This palette retails at £24.00, check it out HERE
